Direction

Psalm 119:1-3
You're blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God.
You're blessed when you follow his directions,
doing your best to find him.
That's right—you don't go off on your own;
you walk straight along the road he set.

Today I just want to be an encouragement to those of you who are traveling down the path that God has laid out for you. If your a pastor, youth pastor or if you clean the bathrooms in your church, you can easily get weary and tired of doing that work for the body of Christ.

So many times we get burnt out on church because we don't set aside time for rest or because we don't read enough of God's word to re-confrim that the work we are doing is worth it and then sometimes things people say or the way people act bring us down.

Today Monday, May 21st 2012 I want to tell you that "you are blessed when you stay on course" that "you are blessed when you follow his directions" and even though we can get burnt out at times or get discouraged, its gonna be worth it all.

There may be some of you who are looking for answers on which way to go. There may be a few of you who are looking at your options and wandering what in the world is God doing.

Today I want to remind you to simply Trust Him.
Proverbs 3:5-6 in the MSG says "Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track."

In the middle of confusion or being burnt out on church, we need to remind ourselves to trust God, because his plan for us is good, his plan for us is to be blessed and to guide us through this life.
You may not see the purpose now, but one day you'll see the entire picture and you'll know why God allowed certain things that you didn't understand to happen.

Trust him, lean on him, stay on the course that he has set before you and follow his directions (read the word)

Father, I pray today that you would just be with everyone who reads this blog. That you would remind them today that they are blessed and highly favored! And that even though we are in the middle of our battle, if its being burnt out or discouraged, that you see and know the bigger plan and purpose of it all God and we trust you. Jesus help us be real today, help us love others as you have called us to. We love you and thank you
                                                                                                                                      Amen
